Carsbuzz ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Carsbuzz mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

We collect the following information:

• Phone number — for account creation and login via OTP.
• Name — to display on your profile and car listings.
• Location (city, state) — to show nearby car listings and relevant content.
• Car listing details — make, model, price, images, and specifications you provide when posting an ad.
• Device information — Firebase token for push notifications.

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your car listings to potential buyers.
• To send notifications about leads, views, and updates on your listings.
• To show you relevant car listings based on your location.
• To process premium subscription payments.
• To improve our app and services.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Other users — your name, phone number, and car listing details are visible to users who view your ad or generate a lead.
• Service providers — AWS (hosting), Firebase (notifications), Razorpay (payments). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

• Your data is stored on secure AWS servers in India (ap-south-1 region).
• We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission.
• Database credentials are managed via AWS Secrets Manager.
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

You have the right to:

• Access your data via the app (Profile section).
• Update your profile and listing information at any time.
• Delete your account and all associated data (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data, car listings, leads, and subscription history are permanently removed within 30 days.

We send push notifications for:

• New leads on your car listings.
• Views on your car ads.
• Daily updates about new listings.
• Subscription and payment confirmations.

You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.

• Firebase — authentication and push notifications.
• AWS S3 — image storage for car listings.
• Razorpay — payment processing for premium plans.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing data handling.

Our app is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
